18th September 2018 -  The ATN self-propelled aerial platforms in the Fassi Group

The Fassi Group, through its French holding company, which already owns Fassi France and Marrel, has acquired control of ATN, a leading manufacturer of self-propelled aerial platforms on rubber or tracks with electric or diesel engines.

ATN, the French manufacturer of self-propelled aerial platforms, has developed a range of products designed primarily to meet the needs of rental companies, a particularly thriving market in France. The quality and robustness of the materials used guarantee the machines a long life cycle even in harsh operating conditions, while the design continues to improve and constantly expand the range of products, without neglecting a design that facilitates and simplifies maintenance operations to maximize the profitability of its customers.


12th September 2018 -  The Fassi Group brands Cranab and Fassi were well represented in the timber and forestry fair Holzmesse 2018 in Klagenfurt

Klagenfurt (Austria) - The Central European timber and forestry fair Holzmesse 2018 took place from 29th August to 1st September in Klagenfurt and saw the participation of the Fassi and Cranab brands among the many names in the forestry, sawmill technology, construction, green energy, logistics, timber structural engineering and joinery and carpentry sectors.


23rd August 2018 -  Grutech Oy will exhibit a range of Cranab forestry and Slagkraft road-clearing equipment at the FinnMETKO trade fair in Jämsä, Finland.

Jämsä (Finland) – From 30th August to 1st September, the Fassi Group brands Cranab and Slagkraft will be represented at the 17th edition of FinnMETKO by the Fassi Group’s Finnish distributor, Grutech Oy. The fair is Finland's largest and most important heavy-duty trade and sales exhibition, in which forestry, civil engineering and transport machinery will be on display. The exhibition spreads over 100 hectares of the Gradia Jämsä venue in Western Finland and is expected to welcome more than 36,000 visitors during the three days of exhibition, with the participation of more than 400 exhibiting companies.


19th July 2018 -  The Cranab stand is ready to welcome visitors at the INTERFORST fair for forestry technology in Munich.

Munich (Germany) - Today the INTERFORST fair is open for five days of forestry technology and the Cranab Group stand is set up to welcome visitors. The Swedish forestry expert manufacturer will present equipment from across its Cranab, Slagkraft, Vimek and Bracke Forest brands, with Cranab Group staff and members of their sales network in attendance to answer all questions and share the latest technology from the industry-leading company at stand no. FS.912A/1.

11th July 2018 -  The Cranab Group participates in INTERFORST 2018, the international forestry trade fair in Munich.

Munich (Germany) – From 18th – 22nd July, the Swedish Cranab Group and its brands Cranab, Slagkraft, Vimek and Bracke Forest will participate in the 13th edition of INTERFORST, an international fair for forestry and forest technology, held at the exhibition centre Messe München in Munich. The event, which is held every four years, will take place in an exhibition space of 70,000 m², and will feature the latest products and innovations from the forestry sector, presented by over 450 exhibitors from national and international companies.

11th July 2018 -  The companies of the Cranab group are definitively oriented towards efficient machines with an excellent environmental impact

At the event held every four years in Munich, Germany, the Swedish Cranab Group will be participating from 18 to 22 July with a stand of 630 m2. At the fair the group will present the latest innovations from its range of forestry products and the new models of cranes specifically designed for installation on trucks for forestry use and for handling recycled materials.

04th December 2017 -  The preview video for the FC12 crane is now available on Cranab’s YouTube channel.

This video presenting the FC12 crane introduces the most important features of the FC12 forwarder crane: the geometry and smoothness of movement are the most important strengths. Strong lift- and slew capacity provide productivity to the customer.


29th November 2017 -  The Italian crane manufacturer Fassi acquires 100% ownership of Cranab.

Bergamo (Italy). Fassi acquired part-ownership of Cranab in 2013 and has since then increased its ownership in the company step by step and, with the acquisition of Hans Eliasson´s shares, has now become the full owner of the Cranab Group, which consists of the companies Cranab, Vimek and Bracke Forest.
